William L. (Bill) Anderson's unit was called up before the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and was sent to train at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana. The Anderon family visited Bill in June 1941. This photograph shows Bill (on the right) with his mother and a friend, "Tricky," also from Minnesota.
