Marie Kunst, Marie Cavanagh's cousin and roommate during the war, worked for the Buckbee Mears Company of St. Paul, a photo engraving company. Like many local businesses, Buckbee Mears contributed to the war effort through production, and earned the prestigeous Army-Navy "E" production award four times. This booklet was published in 1944 to commemorate the third award given to the company.
