John Buskowiak, wearing his best CCC "sun tans," Plainview

John Buskowiak refers in his stories to the different types of uniform clothing worn in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He describes the "dress" uniform as his "best sun tans" - a golden-tan pair of wool trousers and matching shirt, belt and hat. Mr. Buskowiak is pictured in front of a barracks at Plainview wearing this uniform.
