The Indian Division of the CCC in Minnesota provided work for American Indians both on and off reservation lands. Nationwide, 84,000 Indian men participated in the CCC. This group of enrollees on the Nett Lake Reservation, armed with shovels, axes and other tools, are ready to begin the day's work.
