Guests leaving Curtis Hotel with bellhop, Minneapolis, 1948

The Curtis Hotel, with twin towers built in 1905 and 1911, was a Minneapolis landmark until it was demolished in 1984. The first job that Matthew Little was able to get in Minneapolis in 1948 was as a waiter in the dining room at the Curtis.
