Moving to Richfield provided Emily Day's family with more room, both inside and out. The children enjoyed playing with the neighbor kids in the family's spacious yard. This photograph, taken about 1949, shows Mary (left), Sally and Tom Day (on right) playing with a friend in their sandbox.
