Marietta Sherman Neumann remembered what special Sunday "company meals" were like while growing up on her family's farm, and recreated such a meal for the benefit of the Minnesota's Greatest Generation project interviewers.
After church the family would stop by the butcher shop and pick up a fresh sausage. There would be homemade potato salad, bread, home-canned fruit, Jello with real whipped cream, cookies, and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
