The Dyckman Hotel, located on Sixth Street South in Minneapolis, was just one of several quality hotels in the city. Matthew Little remembered getting a job as a lunchtime waiter there in the late 1940s. Like many of the old downtown hotels, it was razed to make way for urban renewal projects in the 1980s. The City Center now stands on the site.
