Minnesota-made CG-4A gliders ready for service in WWII

More than 1500 military gliders were built in Minnesota during World War II by Northwest Aeronautical Corporation, with work done at four locations around the Twin Cities. This photograph shows a group of finished CG-4A gliders at Wold-Chamberlain Field ready for war duty.
