Ferne Krans remembered purchasing her toolbox and many of the hand tools she would need for her work at the glider factory at Sears. The kit contained a calipers, hammers, and chisels, among other tools. One item in her box, the rivet block (the small wooden object to the right of the hammers in this picture), was made by hand by one of her co-workers.
