Men of the 135th Infantry, 34th Division, leaving Minneapolis

For many young Minnesota men and women, leaving home for war service was a new experience. This group of men of the 135th Infantry, 34th Division, left Minneapolis by rail for Camp Claiborne, Louisiana to begin training for combat duty in 1941.
