The Luverne High School class of 1944 boasted 48 students. Pictured here is the complete program from graduation exercises, which were held on June 1st.
Like the young men who graduated before them, many of the boys from this class would join the military to serve their country in the final months of World War II. Their service, and that of Rock County veterans of all wars, is remembered through the Rock County Veterans' Memorial, which was dedicated in May 2007.
