When the Luther League of St. Paulus Lutheran Church decided to publish a newsletter for members of the congregation serving their country during the war, LuCille Waldhauser, pictured here in a 1944 photograph, stepped up to the plate as Editor. The "Home Front News" was produced each month for two years, and included news, sports, editorials, poetry and humor.
