Minnesota's Greatest Generation

Margaret Nadeau Hensel

Margaret Nadeau Hensel grew up on her parents' dairy farm in rural Anoka County, at the time one of Minnesota's leading dairy counties. During World War II, Mrs. Hensel served as a nurse with the Army Air Force, helping to care for wounded troops coming back from the South Pacific. She is pictured here wearing her World War II uniform.
