The "Home Front News," a project of the Luther League of St. Paulus Lutheran Church in South St. Paul, was a small newsletter sent to servicemen and women who were members of the church. Each issue was prepared by the staff, with Lucy Waldhauser as Editor and Harris Heuer, Assistant Editor, and was produced on a mimeograph machine. Extra copies were sold to membrs of the congregation, which helped to pay expenses.
The monthly newsletter, published between January 22, 1944 and December 15, 1946 featured stories about activities of the Luther League, news about members of the church, and of men and women in the service.
