When WAC Pearlie Hargrave and Sergeant Michael (Mickey) McKoegh were married while stationed in Paris at the Supreme Headquarters for the Allied Expeditionary Forces (SHAEF), General Dwight D. Eisenhower, himself, hosted the reception for the couple.
