Minnesota's Greatest Generation

CCC camp recreation hall, Indian Division, Grand Portage

The young men of the Civilian Conservation Corps enjoyed many activities in their free time, playing ping-pong, pool, and other games, and visiting the canteen for snacks and socializing. This recreation hall in Grand Portage provided a place for CCC Indian Division enrollees to relax after a day of hard work.
