The Richfield League of Women Voters took on the responsibility of preparing a study of the Richfield School District #280 in 1962 to determine the village's future need of school facilities.
This study examines the roles of the State Department of Education and the local school board, and provides a detailed explanation of the costs of education to local taxpayers. It contains information about the rise in numbers of students and teaching staff, and offers descriptions of programs and services offered by the community's schools.
