The Dean family's "shoe-box shelter" in Eden Praire

Families impacted by the Great Depression did whatever they could to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. With the help of friends, the Dean family was able to construct this "shoe-box shelter" on an acre of land in Eden Prairie Township,and made a new start.
