Minnesota's Greatest Generation

Men's Leather Shoe Roller Skates

These shoe skates show many improvements from the earlier clamp-on rollerskates. The leather boot built onto the skate gave the wearer more control and ankle stability while skating. In the 1930s, skating marathons were particularly popular, with teams skating the equivelent of thousands of miles for large cash prizes.
