Minnesota's Greatest Generation

St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 5421 France Avenue, Edina, 1959

As the suburbs grew, churches were built or expanded to accommodate growing congregations. St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Edina, pictured here, replaced its small chapel in 1958 with this modern new church. A Christian church school building had been completed in 1947, with classrooms added in 1950.
