Many Minnesota companies, like Honeywell, found prosperity in the post-war period. The familiar round Honeywell Thermostat revolutionized central heating systems across the country in the 1950s. This photograph shows workers at the plant in Golden Valley making a final check of a batch of thermostats before they were packaged and shipped to distributors.
