Tom Cousins moved his family to Minnesota in 1958 when he was offered a job in the promotion department of WCCO Television, and was quickly promoted to Promotion Director at the station. He remained with WCCO throughout his career.
Perks of Tom's job included meeting such stars as Captain Kangaroo, Buddy Ebson, and Peter Graves, and attending annual Broadcast Promotion Conventions.
