George F. Snell Voice Letters

Written letters were not the only way for those in the military to communicate with friends and family back home. Many service organizations, such as the U.S.O. and Red Cross, offered servicemen and women the opportunity to record voice messages onto phonograph records and send them. George F. Snell recorded these voice letters while stationed in Pittsburgh during the war.
