Minnesota's Greatest Generation

Westminster Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis, 1954

Martha and Joe Doughty settled in the suburb of St. Louis Park when they first came to Minnesota in 1952. Because there was no Presbyterian church in St. Louis Park at that time, the Doughtys chose to join Westminster Presbyterian Church located at Twelfth and Nicollet in downtown Minneapolis. Peace Presbyterian Church was built in St. Louis Park in 1957.
